  1. Thank you guys for a great podcast to listen to. I have a topic suggestion that is fairly germane to my current situation. I stumbled on to the RPG Corner blog while searching for a good blog covering Rifts, however, in reading the lion's share of the posts I became more enamored with BRP. I have since purchased the BRP gold book and Magic World and am hip deep writing out a fantasy campaign idea (a detour from my original intent, but you have to go where your inspiration takes you). And with BRP being a new system for me, I have been searching for a few Game Podcasts using BRP rules. However, I seem to only be finding Call of Cthulhu games such as what is featured on RPPR. I have listened to a few sessions, specifically those that seem to have more of an appropriate setting for what I am trying to run. However, what tips do you have for running a first time BRP fantasy world? While that is a vague questions, a more focused version of that would be something along the lines of; how much home brewing do you do? How in depth do you get into combat rules such as weapons/shield hit points and damage from parries? Given that Size is a very interesting stat that can lead to some interesting imbalances, do you have tips on 'balancing' encounters given how lethal BRP combat seems to be? Or just if you want to spend a few minutes musing/waxing philosophically/rambling/or any combination of the above, that would be of interest.

    1. Hey Jhandar--thanks so much for your kind words! We'll be sure to address your specific questions on our next episode. In the meantime, the episode that just dropped tonight is nicely-timed with your comment, as it's us talking about BRP for the better part of an hour!

I'm not aware of any other podcasts that discuss BRP Core. The Miskatonic University podcast discusses Call of Cthulhu quite extensively and has a nice series early in its run in which they review the rules in a pretty in-depth fashion.

Thanks for those great questions! We're looking forward to digging into them.

    2. Comment again if you still have questions, I am more than willing to talk in-depth about BRP for another two hours.
